Transfer Day
The Maryland Area College Music Association is happy to announce Transfer Day 2025. This year, the event will be at:
Mount St. Mary's University
16300 Old Emmitsburg Rd,
Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
Music students attending 2-year institutions are encouraged to speak with their department heads concerning this event.
This is an opportunity for the music students at the two-year colleges to meet with departmental and student representatives from the music departments of participating four-year institutions.
Those who attend will be able to engage in a mock audition for a chance at a scholarship, receive feedback on what they need to improve for their college auditions, talk with other students who have already transferred to four year colleges, and see those students perform. There is no charge for attendance or participation.
instructions in the PDF listed below.
The award of this scholarship is not a guarantee of admission to a 4-year college or university.
